Richard, Burpengary got a special mention on the channel 10 news.
Has been bucketing down for 2 days. :D

Got a bit too much today. Son couldn't get to Morayfield to go to work, all roads out were cut. We are in the suburbs, not the acreage areas. Yard flooded and pool overflowed.

Then after lunch the rain just stopped and the sun came out. We went for a walk to see what had happened. Coles carpark evacuated, Intersection flooded, roads closed and most businesses also.
The link at the end is to a short video on the flooded Jeep.
When they opened the doors, water poured out, but it did start again, squirting out pressurised water like a pump was connected to the exhaust.
The rain is now back on again.

You might be lucky.
Rain has been very light so far, and the water levels have dropped a lot since the major downpours stopped.

But if you love them, why would you want to move them into NSW

Well the good news for me was the black "B" didn't get turned into a u-boat. Got to the sills and stopped :o :o
I hope all others faired as well as I.
