Hi Harko,

Can you tell us more abour rustrite? Have they got a shop? Do they press their own panels/rust sections? Are they cheaper than rares?

Today I bought two rear and a front left for $85 each delivered .
His price seems a little exorbident to previous purchases .

Im pretty sure he supplies rares but these seem a thicker grade of steel than rares ones .but still inherit the flaws.

His van had all makes of cars signwritten on it so I presume he does most makes and one offs.

Swivel I actually asked that exact question and he said he could make it but didnt stock it ..

does rustrite do complete panels (guards ect) or just rust repair sections? sounds good that they're a thicker grade steel though.

I have one. It looks pretty clean. Has been resprayed at some time and the trim holes welded up. There are 2 small rust spots both about the size of 5c piece. Have left my mobile number on your mobile.

forgot to add...it has no glass.

Harko,
Could we see a photo of the repair sections (floors). I have bought several types and hate the pressings cause they just don't fit right including rares. I found a nos rear right and it was a perfect fit. Still have the rear left to do but not happy with the pans I have bought.

They are identical to rares in that respect , the rears seem ok so far but the fronts look hammered into shape in areas where I know they are pressed , Ive fitted them before aswell and I know exactly where you are coming from .
I acheived the best results by teck screwing the floorpan into position - pulling the offset swages to where they should be then cutting along inbetween the screws and welding , then removing the screws cutting and welding the rest , then welding up the screw hole .
Hmm sounds like alot of extra work to utilise a poor design huh.
