Has anyone here used belts from "Seat belt solutions" ?

I want to get some new inertia real belts for the wagon but don't want to use black ones from Autobarn.

Any other suggestions? Trev 8) .

Hi Trev
Hemco do coloured belts
http://www.hemco.com.au/seatbelts.html

I havent used them though

As far as rewebbing goes I thought that Seat Belt Solutions were the only ones in OZ that can LEAGALY reweb belts complete with ADR tag but only for the webbing not for the buckles dut I could be wrong again

I've just bought a set of black lap sash belts from Hemco  for my old bomb and just got them in the mail yesterday. They are made in Australia to Australian design standards.

Hemco are based in Ballarat.

Belts for six seating positions all up was $460 posted to me with all bolts, anchor plates etc to fit.

That price was for black ones as I'm not worried about matching colours in my old beast.

Coloured ones are a bit dearer.

Haven't fitted them yet but they look OK.

Same type belts from Seatbelt Solutions was going to be near $700.

Rang Stamp's today and 4 inertia and 2 lap belts will cost about $700 in the color I want.
He only uses the black connectors because they are the only ones that are Australian standard compliance, because I asked about the chrome air plane style and he doesn't use them because they fail the Aus standards test, Trev 8) .

No not inertia reel belts, lap sash belts. Its only for my daily driver so lap sash will do me.Will be putting inertia ones in the V8 EK.

Inertia reel was a bit dearer but I think they were still cheaper than setbelt solutions prices.

Inertia reel belts are available from Hemco as well. There are prices on their website, Craig put up a link  to their website.

Does anyone know of where one might start looking if they wanted the air plane style Trev was talking about?

PS - I also took NoMADs advice and rang STAMPS this arvo. They are currently running on about 4 weeks turnaround time compared to around 12 weeks if anyone is interested in heading their way.
