Can't open bonnet

Any tips?
Lifting the handle feels as normal, however I can't lift it more than about 15mm. Has been stuck shut since I got it back from the mechanics.

Blame the mechanics or is it just worn?

probably worn, try to as you lift the bonnet also push to the left i think (could be right side)
could also try blaming the mechanic

, sorry thought I was back at the MCG
.
I had the same problem, it had worn a groove in the latch.
Had to stick my hand up under the latch and use a finger to release it, when it's open get your grinder out and smooth out the groove, Trev
.

I can move the J shaped latch with my digit, but it doesn't seem to help??
From what I can see, the latch is functioning just the same as our 'problem free' 'never breaks' 'never broken down' 'far better' EK
Could the mech's have jammed something in the hinges?

Have you tried using your finger instead
