G'day guy's,
Just wondering if anyone has bought a reproduction of the original flooring off Obsolete Rubber Mats, and how good they are? I know they only make black (which is a bit of a bummer) but I was wondering how close they are to the original?
Cheers,
Kato.

Thanks Steve,
Ive seen some of pics of his cars on the forum and they look like they just came off the showroom floor, so i figured they would be pretty good. Do you know if there is any way to colour them?
Kato.

You can use Dupont vinyl paint & because the paint is taken from the acrylic formulas (with vinyl binder added) comes in many colours.
It’s also a single pack application (no hardeners or thinners).
It's very important to clean the floor mat thoroughly with prepsol before you start.
Before painting the new mats I would leave them in the car for a number of months to mould into shape before you paint them.

Thanks Blue Ute. Is this paint fairly hard wearing? I plan on driving it a fair bit once it's finished.

How much are they??
Do they have a website??
Can someone post pics? - I would rather rubber than carpet.

Kato as far as I know the paint wears very well.

Martin does it part time & (AFIK) he has no website, as for photo don't have one ATM but he has the original GMH mould, its not rubber but some other material.
I'm sure someone will know the material used but it's very tough wearing.

I have just purchased a set of mats and have heard that bathroom tile paint may be a better option for the interior mats - anyone have any advice?
