i've had a couple of fords  one had a chev engine :) the rest weren't worth mentioning  except in a comparison i padock bashed an XM falcon it lasted about an hour, i padock bashed an EK it lasted 3 days and still only died cause we bogged it to the axel and couldn't get it out :( so we punched a hole in the sump and drained the water started the engine and stuck a rock on the accelorator till she died

Yep, guilty as well.

Bought FB panelven for $100,FB and EK wagon (free ) and my mates and I used them in a gymkana event and later as shooting buggies.

They were worth then about as much as a VN Commodore would be worth now.

If I knew back then what they'd be worth now I'd probably would have treated 'em different.

J, start buying all the VN Commodores now before they start heading up in price       .

does make you wonder though re: the VN's

said it before and i'll say it again, it's only the last 5 - 10 years (closer to 5) that FB/EK's have been worth anything, you could pick up a REALLY good car for under $5,000 stock or modified

the one that got padock bashed was registered and would have cost less than $100 drove till rego was just about out and then  :(

Shite, I bashed a heap of them, a rust free windowless van, a registered EK EJ's EH etc etc etc had 40 acres to do it in. I can remember buying good running registered FC-EK's for 100 bucks or less with nasco acessories...............
