Just picked up my FB Special Sedan and it needs the door trims redone and the seats re done.
Any one know of a good place in Sydney or Canberra that does them.
And any one know of a round about price to do the interior.
Thanks
Mick

Depends on what material you want the new interior in, if the bases need repairs and what style/pattern you want.
I generally charge around $500-700 each for benches in vinyl/material and that is taking the seats back to the frame and building up with all new stuff. Frame repairs are extra. Door trims from $150 (simple set of 4) in vinyl.
Shop around by reputation not the glossy ads in mags or fancy websites, happy customers are the best advertising there is.

check out
http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=587 and look at Upholsterers for a Stitch n Time. I had my front bench seat rebuilt and recoved a few years back in original...a top job.

I had some stuff done a while ago by a guy called Jim Badger
He is in Fairy Meadow (North of Wollongong)
19 Kingsford Street
(02) 4283 4199
He doesn't advertise, doesn't even have a business card but he is a good bloke and most importantly is really good at what he does. His price was really reasonable too
Certainly worth the short drive down the coast

I've heard of Jim Badgers work too. I'll add him to the suppliers list so we dont lose the details...

Does anyone know of a trimmer with the tool to vinyl weld the original pattern into the inset material? I have some NOS stuff and need it done for a couple of interiors
