Mowers

Over the years I have seen some great and strange Mowers

I have one, that was originally started by a retired engineer.
A mate bought it and we did a tidy up and made some major changes so it more user friendly.

I have now had it for over ten years, but it is in need of a new motor and some long overdue repairs.

Any of you out there got a modified mower? or any other things you have made instead of buying one.

My ride-on comes from the 1960's....It's a "Mowall" made in Cootamundra with a Kirby engine (not for long as it's on its last legs & needs 1/2 a can of Aero Start to get it to fire up!!). This things been modified by several owners over the years but can cut anything down including saplings!

...by the way, Paul's mower is powered by a Morrie Minor engine.

The motor and gearbox is out of a FWD Morris 1100, the steering and brake parts are Mini. And the seat is Mini as well

Frame is home made and the cutting deck is off an old ride on.
