Had the pleasure of visiting Terry & Family late yesterday on my trip home (Driving my FB Ute for the first time in eight or nine years :D )

Terry & Teresa have the cars & I had the camera. What a great place to visit & see these Cars. Could look at them for hours. Some of my pics didn't turn out that well as I bumped the camera setting without realizing.

The Ute made it  I normally stop at Terry's in need of repair

Yep,
Drove past an ek in a front yard for years until I saw the bloke at the front gate. Asked what he was doing with it and got the standard reply "Gunna do it up one day". Yeah sure mate.
Anyway a for sale sign appeared in front of the house and a neighbour said the poor old bloke died and the house was left to the government.
All I can say is that I left a not so bad shell that was eventually picked up for scrap!
Not saying in any way that FB MAD is like this bloke but it does give you the shits when you see it happen, and the ball is usually in two courts as well you know "yeah ill buy it off you one day just got to get some money".

Regards Greg

Thanks Steve for throwing up the photos :D

Now to answer some of the questions and comments..........

................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Thanks Tim,

Yep have 3 x 215's two of them being rebuildable ( Honey Beige 215 and Lucerne Blue 215 next to the one with roof rack) , roof rack 215 is unfortunately well beyond any sort of rebuild due to major extensive rust.

..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Blacky by all means show the pics to Mrs Blacky if it helps to prove your sanity

..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Cal,

The bullet holes are 38 calibre and 22 calibre.Did have a few 50 calibre bulet holes in it but the rego inspector wouldn't pass it for rego with them, muttered something about structural strength being compromised

Nah, they're just stickers

.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Thommo there are 12 cars in total ( 7 FB's and 5 EK's ) with 4 FB's being rebuildable and 4 EK's being rebuildable, some needing more work/parts than others.I know I'll never get to do them all so some will have to go sometime I guess.

.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Gas 455, As above comment, I'll never get to do all the rebuildable ones so some may come up for sale in time to help fund rebuild of others.

.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I thought I'd cop some flack about cars being in the weather...........

The rebuildable ones have not long been outside due to need to extricate a 1937 Chev truck from the back of my shed that I sold a month or two ago, the condition you see them in in is the condition I found then in. Any damage due to neglect having been done by previous owners, not by me.

I am in the process of making covered shelter for them using sheets of steel reo curved into an arch and black plastic with shade cloth over the top. From experience the black plastic lasts about 2/3 years before the sun wrecks it and the need to recover. Not ideal storage I know but its cheap and keeps the dew and water off the cars and the cars stay dry.

Rest well tonight fellas, they will be under covered shelter again early in the new year.

The other cars are way beyond any form of rebuild and are simply parts cars, shelter over them is unfortunatly too late now and again, they were in the condition I found them in,neglect being the responsibility of previous owners.

They're not destined to be front garden ornaments!!

I'm not one of those gunna do it up someday blokes and I know I''ll never have the time or funds to do all the rebuildable ones up so there may be some up for sale in the future.

Cheers,

Terry.
