to flame or not to flame???
I have a few bubbles coming through on both front doors that need to be removed and my partner opened the jeep door onto the pearl highlight the other day with the expected result.
so the big question, touch up or flame???

it really depends on the style of flames, and which colour combo you'd be going with. would look cool though.

Flames can look good done right, lay them out first and see what you think.
J, that scallop on the top of the gaurd needs to go forward, it looks a bit funny running backwards.

J, i cant see the link to a pic or the picture posted. i was thinking fat chunky ghost flames all along. glad to hear others thinking similarly, i wasn't wanting to introduce another colour.

i'm sorry but fat'n'chunky

are just 2 words that shouldn't be associated with flames, best stick to touch up

Touch it up
Everyone has their personal choice
But if you must decorate
Scallops are better suited to 60's styled bodies
will try and post some pictures later

Flames I understand, but Scallops are something you eat ?
I have recently been doing up drafts for paint ideas.
One includes flames, not for the flames, but I needed something as a fill in.

do you mean fill in as hust for now ? cause unless they are right they look crap and also they aint just something to do on a sunday arvo LOTS of time masking up etc

Fill in, as in, to create something that allows 2 other colours to be separated.
It was just one idea I was considering.
Trouble is I can't decide on what colour i want to use.
I want
White and
Red and
Black. Did want
Blue too, but I can't see that working without looking really tacky.
Just had another idea, flutes/vents might do the same job

Ive been toying with this for awhile now and some1 has gotten my spark back into my brain about it,love flames but i would love to see you photo shop guys try this on.
Having a white ute with it looking like its peeling the paint back from the front of the ute would need a real good painter for it.
