Mick this is one cool EK. What part of town are you from, Im amazed Ive never seen it in the flesh. All the little details are superb and the grille idea is customising at its best (using what you can find). Dig it.

Im a simple man with simple ideas,The grill did look good for what it cost me (a piece of off cut 25x25 gal steel from a gate with a v cut in the middle ,it broke my heart to cut the handles off them ,they looked good as well .Im from Victoria Pt but I built it when I lived in Birkdale all the cars Ive built over the years have been built in the same manner ,not that Im a cheap Kunt, but I love the finished outcome and the trick-factor .Ill have to post a pic off the grill on my old hg made from towel rails from Bunnings that was good ,shame about the chrome.

Hey Sunny Rob ,pretty sure I saw your bike down at Fingal Heads at Darryl von weirdos he had a nice windowless van which I was keen on as a purchase but I couldnt sell my XU-1 !!! an a nice two door pillarless EK to at the time .Man that bike ..
