Chroming 'V' Rare spares

Hi all,
We are really lucky in Darwin as we have no chrome platers  (due to the humidity ... apparently). Has anyone used the Rares Spares exchange bumbers? are they any good? I want the chrome top quality, just checking some options, our local Rare spares shop does not carry this stuff so I cannot see it for myself.

I have other diecast and steel parts to have plated, can anyone recommend chrome platers in SA or QLD as these would be the most cost effective freight wise. Has any of the S.A. members heard of A Class Metals? Any help would be greatly appretiated.

cheers, Garry

I had exchange rear bars from Rares, would touch em again if I was paid, the chrome work is totally shiyte house. Was rusting the day after I washed it the first time.
I couldn't take them back because I bought them years before they were fitted to the car.
You know what there reply was..................

I also had a few bars done by Rares and the one my brother ended up with had rusted on the ends before he had got his car out of the shed  (6-12 months), mine is still in the plastic and looks ok so far (8 years on ). I would find someone else to do your chroming.
