I think you'd find the grey box would hold up fine provided you didn't side step the clutch or do roll backs to often

I vote powerglide, you wont need any more than 2 gears with that

100 000 HP at 102 rpm mmm might want something with an overdrive try the 700

realy , if any one does fit one up to an ek,,, as fbs mite not be modern enough,,,,, you mite want to turbo it , just to make it go a bit better

ohh and nose it into the pacific , with the bottom hose off just so you get enough cooling capacity

mite need the torana 60l tank aswell,,as a small increase in consumption will affect its range
