After looking around for a long time and learning quite a bit I've finally got a project.
Its going to get a lot of work done to it to hopefully get it back in shape.
Studying mechanical engineering so uni is out for summer and i should get a good start on it over the next three months.
This is what arrived on saturday

Theres also a sticker in the rear window which ill get remade, a plate in the engine bay and a sticker on the dash showing Bib Stillwell originally sold it from Kew

Not sure what happened to this guy

The interior was all there and in pretty good condition not sure if these hangers are anything special?
Ill be meeting the seller again this week for the radiator so i can find out some more of the history
Looking forward to hearing from members of the forum and club and i'll be posting up more than a few questions!

Nice start there TimR.
Is that a fly fishing reel hanging underneath?
Looks to be a good buy.
Hows the rust situation?
Some on here will be able to tell you more from the tags.
Cheers Theo Z...............

Nice score Tim
She looks alright from here.
Did the missing side trim come with the car?
Hey Theo, that flyfishing reel looks like a filter on a particial mask to me.
Cheers
Jeff

Thanks everyone!
Got it right Thommo it was someones mask maybe i can sell it off as nasco
Almost all the trim is there just missing the bottom corners of the front windscreen and an fb triangle from the left.
Now the rust
We haven't taken the fenders off yet but there is a bit in the front subframe under the battery tray, the right rear quarter is gone, back left door, the boot needs sections cut out, there are a couple of holes in the floor pans but not too bad, some smallish holes in the other doors and a bit at the bottom of the door where it meets the floor.
After saying all that it is fairly good elsewhere including the sills and doglegs and the replacement panels should cover a lot of it.

this is the low mile one isn't it ?
as DR said it can be fixed and like i said all that greenery won't be good for the lower sections of the car

Engines out! I've just been taking bits off the car for a while and cleaning it up.
The engine number is B35373 so the Jan to May dates sound right i think.
It will definitely stay white and the pink is starting to grow on me!
After getting a large bucket full of water out of the engine I might hunt around for a new one later on but planning on keeping a 138 in.

If your getting the engine reco take the engine you have in and check it out, it would be pretty kool to have the original motor fitted where it should be

, you could pay good money for another motor that is stuffed anyway, Trev
