My FB Van

Here are some pictures of my FB van I've had for about 2 years. Only done about a weeks wortht of work on it in that time, but a new shed (being built soon)
should make it easier to work on. So far I've cleaned out the inside and painted all the floors and inside of panels with rust primer.
Still a lot of work to go, but is a good mostly rust free base to work with.

Looks tidy alright.
I'm going with modified judging by the wheels.

G'day,
Plan to keep the body and driveline to stock specs (I have always dreamed of a V8 FB van, but can't bring myself to cut this one up).
Mag wheels from FB/EK member yaprat c/- ebay. I also plan to have a stock set as well.
Good point about patina. My wife nearly divorced me when she saw it. You paid what for that......rusty thing? Told her it wasn't rust but patina.
She is fairly intelligent and accused me of making the word up. She had to check in the dictionary.

Gday Steve
Your a lucky man to have a van in that good a condition.
The poor old workhorses usually had a pretty rough life.
This one should be a fairly easy resto.
Good luck with it, keep us posted.
Cheers
Jeff

Keep the "patina" Steve.
Save yourself some money and don't paint it.
I love it as is.

Who are Bob and Evelyn? Sounds like an interesting twist to the story I haven't heard yet. The guy I bought it off was named Mick. He got both my van and the shortened coupe from a guy called Megsy (lives near Ratbox) obviously with the intention of making a few bucks on ebay. He basically offloaded the van as soon as he got it home, and was at the stage I got it yet to pick up the coupe.
