Thanks for putting that up, it'll help alot of guys (and girls) get a rough idea of what it'll cost. Do these guys do a good job?

I received some chrome late last year ... Superb!

I also borrow taillights and door handles from Stygan that he hadn't put on his car yet, that were re-chromed five years ago still wrapped in news paper. Perfect ......

Shane is also a top bloke! :)

Absolutely superb Jimmy. Shane plates the proper way - item is repaired if needed, then plated in copper, followed by nickel, then chrome. He took me out the back of his workshop once and, without word of a lie, the place was hospital clean. Not a single speck of dust anywhere.

Oh yeah, if you find an imperfection on anything he has done, just take it back and he'll fix it. No dramas, no bullshit. I did this last year with a thumbprint dress rim he did for me.

It's cheaper to give him all the bits you want chromed rather than a bit at a time. Mine cost 4 grand for the whole car, including cad plating of bonnet hinges and all these bolts and things, plus polishing of the whole front grill. But as Steve says, that was a few years back now.

I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I ve been to a couple of chrome platers in Adelaide,
I'm sure, when asked for a quote on stuff,
they just pull a number out of their @r$e.

They wouldn't possably have a price list for everything ever bought to them.
