HR to good for parts

Started looking for a rusted out HR to get a rear end for the EK.

Eventually got just a shell that still had the rear end attached. Took the rear end and guy was happy to keep the rest of the shell. A win win outcome I thought.

However in looking around I started to get attached to some of the other old holdens out there. I saw this, had a bid and won it.
Its a Premier, and supposedly in reasonable condition.
In primer with surface rust ? but all the chrome is included, and the 186 may come in handy. :D :D :D
Looks like another project to add to the list. Could be on the road before the EK.

Will get some more info when I pick it up next weekend.

Hey Finny I'm after the removable panel which covers the plenum chamber-ie the bit that the fresh air vents screw onto between bonnet and windscreen, if you have any more HR parts.Oh, and a bonnet too!

Pm me if you have these bits and want to get rid of them.

EKV8UTE, No I didn't take the rest of the body, however if I can find the guys number I'll pass it on, it was on the sunshine coast.

Yes J, my sadistic nature is starting to show.
No, I wolud never chop up an EK wagon, I just wait until the rusted parts drop off all by themselves.

It has a drum, SunnyTim but the 186 seems fine. Will at least break even even after the 7 hour round trip drive to Bonalbo in NSW. But first job is to try and get it back on the road.

La Presidente' was giving the last rights to the Parts EK  . Part of his official duties. :? :?
