Hey all!

When i eventually get my ek/fb i was hoping to do the v6 conversion. If i was to do this, would you guys recommend buying a "wreck" donor car(correct me if im wrong) Like VT v6.. or buy just the engine? Im interested in keeping things like air con and stuff like that.

Ive got so many other questions about steering and suspension and brakes, i am totally new to this stuff but am willing to give it a shot. Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated.

p.s im liking v6 conversion for reliability and efficiency if i ever get round to travelinng australia in a ek/fb.. plus im sick of waiting for my car to ehat up in the morning so it would be a nice change!

Roob, I would buy a whole car (running) so you can use all the parts you need.

Whole car, that way if you get really excited you can go elec windows, cruise, power steer etc... I'm planning to do the same for my wife's FB wagon.
