At least you arrived home safely Mark.
Just want to know do you get it towed from Bathurst, or got the old girl going again under its own power,

Nice pics by the way. and that 304 EH ute was my pick of the bunch. With a natural patina and crows feeting, and rusted bird cage wire in the back, along with other scrap.... just goes to show, you don't need a 10 thousand dollar paint job to make em look good.

Was good to see the van up and running and making its debut on the day.
Also great to catch with all you guys as well.

Regards John

Hi John, We got the NRMA to look at it in Bathurst. He said there was a broken wire between the alt and the battery as the battery was ok and the alt was charging. So we just swapped batteries and kept driving . I drove behind Karen and just had my parking lights on most of the way except when cars/trucks were coming and going through towns. Got all the way without any other drama's...Now come's the fun of trying to find where its broken or just replacing it through the maze of wiring."ITS going to be fun".. Cheers Mark

i am busty though  :? goes with my big fat guts
if the alt is charging and the battery is good there should only be one wire to replace
that would have kinda been a scarey drive, flat black car on dark country roads
