Have a good look through this lot.
Some cars you'll know, some you may not.
All these cars have a similiar look to ours in shape and style.
Check out the grilles, side trims, tail lights and bumpers.

You might find some inspiration among them.

Also take a look at this tail light lenses.
These could easily be adapted to our housings
for a mild custom look

i've always thought of 2 toning an EK in the style of a customline, it's amazing how simular the 2 look side on

Which model rat? Both my Dad and Brother had 56's but I'm guessing not those as they are similar two tone now. 57? Would not be hard to do at all. Add in a set of lenses Thommo put up and you're done 8)

not sure, the one where the chrome comes from the centre of the top of the front guard curves down into the door then back up and to the tail lights, i've seen the same mould on 2 and 4 doors

I like the shape of the front corner (Headlight Peak-Indicator-Grille Opening)
on the Pink/White Cusso 8)
Its so close to an FB, but so different.

The way the FB front guard curves & spreads down to the
bumper height, around the indicator, is the most unappealing part
of the FB's in my opinion :| ( fb's are still my fav though  )
It looks as though Holdens tried to cover that area on the EK with
the front indicator housing.

I also like the tail lights on the 1961 300 Chysler convertable.

Jeff, I want them all. :D :D :D :D :D Great post. 8) 8)
The era, the shape, the classic lines, they look fantasic.

The only thing I don't like is left hand drives  . (and pink is a little off-putting) :?
