i've seen some stuff on that, only bit that makes me suspisious is those trying to sell the devises talk it up, yet i saw an episode of mythbusters where they try all these type of things and none worked, saying this i wouldn't mind giving it a go for myself
best solution on mythbusters was get a deisel car and run it on used cooking oil all they did was filter it

I'm pretty sure this lives in the realm of Dihydrogenmonoxide and related urban myths.

have heard a couple of instances, on the use of browns gas

basically, costs $15-20$ to make a unit - which connects straight to your inlet manifold & holds distilled water & bi carb soda
a charge passes through coil/unit, which creates hydrogen gas
30-70% saving - yet to see results on dyno

& someone who knows of a V8 sedan which runs LPG & browns gas
with a proven 25% increase in milage

hopefully someone out there has a browns gas setup/or knows someone with one
& can shed some light on the myth

At first I thought browns gas was a fart with a follow through

besides the mythbusters there was a guy on ACA or one of them with a set up on a falcon, with the cameras present him and a mate filled up 2 cars same model one was lowered with mags and stuff but, then did a 100km drive and refilled the one fitted with brown gas took 5.something litres a little hard to beleive, the other 20.something litres which to me seemed the other end excessive

Based on what I was getting from previous cars (between 8 to 9 litres per 100klm for VY commodore, driven reasonably hard but mostly long distance ) the 5 would be a very good result, but how the hell do you only get 20 . I would have thought you would be flogging the hell out of a big V8 car to get that.

Hey, I've just noticed the new web layout, now I can see the quote option. Alway wondered how to do that. Not sure how to select the one you want but it's a start

maybe i should start flogging our VT i drive it easy using cruize all the time set at 100 - 105kmh (everywhere we drive is open road) in generall we get around 10L per 100km at best on our trip to QLD we got between 9 and 10
i'de like to give this a go but by the time you buy the plans and the parts it's gunna be $100, i think i'de rather just spend the $100 on petrol

i've always had the quote thing vissable but can only quote the whole post not just parts of it
