Cars of my Neighbourhood

Post by J »

When I was walking home in the pouring rain today I spotted a couple of cool old cars parked outside the church.

There was a green Belair which I had spotted at the shopping center across the road a couple of months ago, and also a red Valiant which looked pretty tough.

I decided to go back and get soaked just for some pictures.

The Belair was in top condition - looked like a brand new interior and I couldnt spot rust or anything. Would look better lowered with a different set of rims.

in this photo you can see the two cars strangely on the same street :o

Heres the Valiant, loved the sloping roof (kinda like a dodge GL Charger), had bonnet pin things as well.

Its quite exciting for sleepy old Floreat - packed full of old people driving corollas.

floreat beach and city beach are just next to eachother... drive down oceanic dr or the boulevard and once you go up a hill and get to the very bottom (around golf course or perry lakes) your in floreat for the next km or so?

Just behind city beach

64 Chev is a airbag candidate for sure.
Needed to practice some pics anyway so it was a perfect opportunity 8)
I was hoping the Chev was a p.o.s so I could offer the guy 10g's for it, and if I got it, bags would be the first addition.

Every 60's ish Chev should be scraping - in a few songs (hiphop) people refer to them as slabs :P
