what ratio does a manual have in the diff, think mine revs to high at 100, want a little self preservation

dont know what is in there but use to have a torana with a 173 4speed with 2.75--- wasnt fast off the line but just kept going till niddle off the clock, like floating on air

any suggestions.

FB EK had 3.89 as a diff center ratio.

I swapped to a 3.36 see this thread

Just if you do decide to swap to a "red" motor dif center dont forget you need a COURSE spline one.

so will a centre from a hq wagon diff fit if its coarse spline?
