Grey power Twin /Triple ?

I have decided to stick with the Grey motor, currently getting fixed.
When it's finished I was looking at extractors and a twin or triple carby setup. :)
Wondering who has converted from single to twin or triple, and what improvements or otherwise, they have found. Is it worth while.
Car won't be a daily driver, and don't need to race it, just looking for a bit more than the standard 138 can give.

I recently went to a twin carb setup and can report that it has made the car much more powerful and flexible than ever before.

Properly tuned it is still very reasonable on fuel, returning around 180 miles combined city / highway cycle. I also run a towing cam, 3.55 diff, extractors and 2" exhaust so it all works together

ijust put twins on finny ,,,,,,,and mate i will never drive it without them again ,,,, heaps smoother and much more responcive, than with the single ,,, i got 138ks to 17 litres over mount lindsey ,,, with a 3.08m diff and hydromatic,,,,but now im wondering about tripples ,,, and ive seen and ridden in the back of craigs and it cracks ,, although we kinda raced a little at yamba and i seem to keep up,,,, heres a go,,, craig you against me at willow bank ,, i think they have like classic drags dont they ,, and maybe sunny mick and tim could race us aswell to do time tests against singles twins and tripples,,, for a mad weekend,, and to benifit the others, and anwser the Q with some evidence,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cause we would have to crash mez es joint and celerbrate the winner    at the end

Thanks Brown Bear, sounds like it's a worthwhile investment.
Take them on Karsten, I think Craig's saying yours is a bit slower than his

I'll stick with twin's for the time being, can always upgrade at a later time.
Missed the last one on ebay, it was only in the next suburb to me, damn.

I also didn't want to put the old grey under too much pressure, didn;t know what a triple would do to her.

Ummmm Beer. Done, has anything been planned yet.

One of my sons has started to pull the Valiant apart, good at starting things just not finishing - Must get that from me. But will get to the next one, three more cars available.
