Is nice to see some more photos.
And the underbonnet shots, show where a lot of time and work goes and is seldom seen.
Combining all the parts required is a major job, and way beyong many people.
And as critics looking at the finished car it is to easy make comments about what we believe needed changing.
This type of car is a very personal way of expressing their individuality, and will always attract comment. As long as the owner is happy with the end result, thats all that matters
If someone believes they can do a better job, have a go and let others judge your finished work if it gets there.
If the owner builds another one there will be things he will possibly change.
We will just have to wait and see.
As I said previously, I would like to see this tried on a ute or wagon.

yes paul it's easy for people that have never done this type of thing to judge it

and like i said before, those of us that have actually taken to a car with a grinder/oxy/mig/tig are the ones who seem to appreciate it, not that i'm anywhere near yor league
i'm hopeing i bump into it at wintersun would really like to see it in person and wouldn't mind a chat with the owner

i wouldnt do this type of thing to any car. it is absolutely hideous.
i can see the amount of work that has gone into it, but at the end of the day ... would anybody actually want to BUY something like this? would anybody else actually do THIS to any other car? very very few, if any.. i can bet you.
good on the guy for "having a go" he did it for himself.. so any negative comments he gets should be water off a ducks back, shouldnt it?
if everyone liked the same things what part would you play in the world, ratbox?

what in the hell are you on about, i would have to have had the biggest collection of different/modified FB/EK's on this forum and every single one of them i built with some help, not one of my cars is something that i just bought and added some personal touches
i don't make comments on what you say or do so keep yor comments about me and what i do to yorself, cause i gaurantee you will come off second best

In the late 80's to early 90's several Americans converted then current model T Birds by adding Single Spinner &*#@ front and rear sheetmetal.
Later one of these guys made fibreglass panel available and more of these cars have been built.
Several other companies now offer a range of alternative to suit different makes and models and body styles
I have seen several of these at Paso and they are not offencive to the eye.
On my trips to America I have seen attempts by owners to adapt all types of panels to late model cars and only a few have achieved a good result.
This is a new experience in Australia, and being the first or one of the first to attempt such a conversion is a brave move. And as we have seen, change can be a hard thing to accept.
Compare this to the guys that customised 50's and 60's cars years ago, the general public could not understand why someone would ruin a good car by modifying it. Today we hold these visionaries and trend setters in the higest regard.
