Awesome , Thanks for sharing Bretto .
If you see him around again let him know about our freindly site full of people willing to talk negative of his efforts
I guess theres another person who will avoid this site even though he clearly has interest in EK/FBs .
I see an idea ,and I can also see what or where I would have gone with the idea , But its not my idea so what gives me the right to criticise it !

wow...i'm a little put off by all the sharks in the feeding frenzy, never before have i seen someones idea/dream shot down like that in such a short time. The guy who built this was very pleased and proud of his achievements. I would be very embarrassed to point him in the direction of this forum.
I posted these photos in another forum that i have been a member of since 2002, below are some of the comments that i kind of thought they would get here
doesn't look tooo bad, maybe shorten it a little bit, looks like a decent rod/cruiser. wonder how it he manages to park it without hitting anything LOL
Nice panel job.
Front on pic looks alright but the rest of the pics shows it looks a little weird
Top marks for doing something way different from the usual stupid VT onwards body mods for VN and top marks for workmanship but not my cup of tea at all I'm afraid
Proportionally it's way out but that does not take away from the workmanship that's gone into it to put it together. It would have been a massive job and quite complicated.

I have seen several attempts at combining early model sheet metal on a late model car, and not many ever get finished. Out of those that do only a very few truly achieve as good a balance of combining these parts as can be expected.
I look at customized cars possibly from a different position to a lot of people, and can understand the complexity of what is involved to achieve the end result.
Based on the comments posted , you all dislike what has been built, and view it as a wast of time and parts.
This is one persons way or expressing his personal indiviuality, and producing something he is prowd of.
No different to anyone else that is involved on this forum.
I try and have a broard appreciation of all things automotive and that is reflected in variety of what I build for customers. I dont always like what others have done, and sometimes voice my comments.
And others do the same of my work
I think the owner-builder of this car has done a fine job. And I expect to see it featured in a couple of magazines sometime in the future.

This is similar to what has been done in the states with late model lincolns with T bird and 50 &*#@ grafts. The bodywork on this thing is amazing! Most of you know my views on commondores... Anyway he has achieved what he set out to do and if he isn't a panel beater he bloody well should be!! Either way I like it more than a commondore
I think what throws out the look is the angle of the rear fins, possibly a constraint using the commondore but we are used to seeing a slight droop to the rear. So I tweaked it a little, changed the angle of the rear fins and fattened them slightly and shortened the front a bit.

Not my cup of tea...but plenty of hours and skills have gone into this car. I reckon there would be plenty on this site who would be happy with a quality finish like this car, regardless of this actual cars' appeal to their own personal tastes.
I guess as far as commodores go, I'd have to say it has more features then
I would usually appreciate on a commondore...
