well its finally starting today. its off to the panel beaters (3 x small section and weld closed the spare tyre door) as soon as the new brake setup arrives. :D

the seat gets re-upholstered next week, battery will be moved under the floor of the rear. just have to chase up some wheels. 4/5 x 13 front 6/6.5 x 13 rear

does anyone know ratboxs' record for a rebuild, i might tray and give it a nudge!

Workvan, Im at the same stage with a ute also, as for the rims I bought a set of standard HR rims and for the rear have got wider bands which Im changing over with the original centres, just a thought if you have trouble finding wider rims. Good luck with the build. You going red motor disc brakes etc?? You sell yr van?

You won't come close, especially if sending it to a panel beater. By the time they get started Ratbox would be nearly finished.....

Unless of course the panel beater is your bestest ever mate or your paying over and above to get them to stick to their promised time frame.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

well not much has happened on the ute for a while now, my partner and i had a little boy on july 4. so i was kept busy for the last month or so of the pregnancy finishing the nursery.
the ute has finally been readied for the panel beater, engine is off getting rebuilt and im hunting up a few parts. i managed to hunt down hr stub axles calipers and rotors for my hr front end (it had hq bits on it)
now i just have to get the seat upholstered, wait for it to get back from the beaters and put it together
