well its finally starting today. its off to the panel beaters (3 x small section and weld closed the spare tyre door) as soon as the new brake setup arrives.
the seat gets re-upholstered next week, battery will be moved under the floor of the rear. just have to chase up some wheels. 4/5 x 13 front 6/6.5 x 13 rear
does anyone know ratboxs' record for a rebuild, i might tray and give it a nudge!
Workvan, Im at the same stage with a ute also, as for the rims I bought a set of standard HR rims and for the rear have got wider bands which Im changing over with the original centres, just a thought if you have trouble finding wider rims. Good luck with the build. You going red motor disc brakes etc?? You sell yr van?
the wagon would be going by now if i wasn't waighting on my part time panel beater mate, but that's ok
and remember i usually only do a half job and only remove what i have to
well not much has happened on the ute for a while now, my partner and i had a little boy on july 4. so i was kept busy for the last month or so of the pregnancy finishing the nursery.
the ute has finally been readied for the panel beater, engine is off getting rebuilt and im hunting up a few parts. i managed to hunt down hr stub axles calipers and rotors for my hr front end (it had hq bits on it)
now i just have to get the seat upholstered, wait for it to get back from the beaters and put it together
