My Father in laws chopped 51 chev coupe

Hi guys just thought i share a photo of my father in laws 51 Chev used to own. My sister was digging around in her computer and found this shot. I watched this car get built over many years when my father in law aquired it it was a chopped 4 door and he converted it into a 2 door by lengthening the front doors. Not a bad job for a Carpenter by trade. You may of seen it in the first Cruizin mag painted Cathay Grey with red scollops(my influence with colour and scollop job) This paint job that you see was done so the car could be sold due to health reasons at the time we put it Just Cars and it went to Sydney about 3 years ago. He still has a 50 &*#@ that may never the road due to time contranists. Thought you guys would dig. One of these day I will get a scanner......

a mate is doing a i think '52 chev chopped 4 door same sorta deal he's a 60 something year old X brickie who's had a couple of heart bypasses and it looks brilliant, he also owns a chopped 2 door pillarless V8 FJ, that he can't remember how long he's owed it all he remembers is he owned it before he met his first wife and there daughter is 36
he's such a kool dude i luv him and a character to boot

I could not ask for a better Father in law he still thinks he is some 18 year old rockabilly must say very value. He is living up north just goes fishing and drinking all weekend even I have trouble keeping up with him.

It took alot of FB overriders to do that grille. I originally built up a grille for a mates EJ out of all those teeth. Pulled it out when he decided to change it. Have a photo somewhere.......
