hi Guy my car came with a heap of spare on of them was a modified column .. linkages ets removed as a floor shift was going to be installed ..
i just notice whilst working on it that its not a EK column .. think its a HR one .
its a few inches shorter .. so im asking the Question will it fit with out me lossing skin on my knuckles each time i turn the wheel ..
it in great nice and no play like the EK one so its the preferred option

David
PS still looking For a Drag link surely all you guys that have fitted racks have a good one laying out back ?

Gday Dave
The wheel will be closer to the dash, because it is shorter,
also the wheel will be lower to your lap, because the column is angled.
If your a big bloke, you will have to sus out clearance for
your knees when your feet are at the end of the brake/clutch pedal stroke.
The standard FB/EK steering wheel will not fit the column well either.
It should fit the spline, but won't match the outer column.
This column would work well with a deepdish old sports steering wheel
Cheers
Jeff

dave the ek steering box has 3 monts and the hr 2 mounts just a bit of
fileing and it will fit well i also added some large washers on the out side
then grafted a ek coffie pot to the hr top and then you can run a ek
steering wheel and indicator ass
