our plan is to keep the red 6 and auto in it store the battery, remote brake booster, gas tanks and what era else under the rear floors.
body wise i plan to take out the front body lines on the guards, hopefully i can talk her into going matt black, as this is the wifes car i have to go with her plans, and that could take a few turns over the build, i do not plan to get this done in any time frame as it a long term project, but will keep posting pics cheers.............tim & shell

Nice van mate !!!

Ive already relocated the battery in my van just behind the drivers seat underneath the flooring , not too hard and still plenty of room. Slotted a batt cut off switch in between the front buckets, mounted on the metal step to the rear.

This car is also destined for the missus and parts pick-up car. That said I think Shell has intentions of turning it into a pug mobile..... shes got the security suit lined up for the dog to act as the van alarm.

She also wants AC so im thinking a little unit mounted underneath the flooring (right behind front seats) with cut outs on the step-up for vents.

Lucky basterd !! If I had the cash I would buy a panelvan for sure, the more I look at them the more I am falling in love with their lines. such a cool car 8) . If I got one though it would have to be windowless, or if it wasn't it soon would be  . Are you going to keep the side window or get rid of it ? Looks like you have a mountain of work in front of you, just remember a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

Looking forwad to seeing the pics on this awesome resto :D

It's the only problem with pulling them right down, sometimes you get nasty surpises. But its all fixable, just takes time if you do it yourself!

Good luck, let the journey begin...
