hi all.

new to the forum so just thought i would chuck up a few pics of my new car. picked it up last week :)

it's a 62 EK Holden. automatic, with a 186s Monaro engine in it.

i just got some spats for it and its getting air bagged very soon 8)

Whether the world will end tomorrow or not I don't care, I just love flat black paint!!

One of my projects ( maybe a V8 EK ) will be flat black just like that.

hey matty, well bags will be getting done by my good friends at DTKustoms up @ Forster. i have stolen a fair bit of the setup from my bfs old Merc :twisted: so just need to get some SLAM bags and a notch, and i'm laughin 8)

i was going to shave the handles etc as well but i actually like the way the car looks as is! rear spats hopefully are at home waiting for me today too and apart from that (and maybe a matt purple respray) i will be leaving the outside as is!

oh i ordered some Spacer hubcaps from MoonEyes too, and also some personalised plates "LDY.LUK"

engine wise.. i will prob look at ditching the 6, and upgrade to a 5.0l VN engine.

to be honest who knows whats on the cards!! i havent even had the thing a week yet :lol:

i love it and definately will not be getting rid of it anytime soon. even tho my arms ache from no power steering, and i cant see anything in the peep mirrors, and the rear suspension squeeks, and the brakes squeel sometimes. but thats just all part of the charm, right?

oh, as for pics of the interior i'll get some this arvo.

the door trims have flames trimmed into them :roll: personally not a fan.. lol.. but i want to get it redone in black and white, in whats it called... tuck n roll... style

like this anyways but black with a thick white border around the outside...
