I reckon it looks tough! Although the wheels look shit and it would be better with a beat up steel/wooden tray. I'm starting to like the rough original paint look. I had an eh once that had paint worn to the metal in places showing similar surface rust that never got any worse even after I had it 3 years.

i can't beleive people actually like this

the idea is alright but it just doesn't fit, those crappy looking things along the sill area to hide the chassis and those shonky looking guard extensions
they should've used a smaller chassis or narrowed the holden one

I agree with all your comments ratbox, its the idea & the fact that its not pristine that appeals to me I guess.

there was one on ebay a while back that was unfinished but done properly, the whole body had been widened and chanelled over the chassis looked much better

I've always wanted a widened FJ ute.
Don't know about a tonner though. Looks a bit of a mismatch.

14 grand

!!!
I could think of a better way to spend that sort of money.
Still I could start to see the worth in it when I looked at the photo's and read the story. Full legal v8 and all. Still if you want old school v8 I think Ratbox's car was a much better buy than this thing.
Honestly though look at it, some might like the "patina" look. I have seen it before on other cars and it looks o.k, but to me this car looks like a piece of s#%t that would last about 5 minutes on the road before getting pulled over and defected.

Come on fella's - by the location and lack of reg - this is a work truck - I feel it has been "hacked" together to serve purpose - it is a "farm" tractor.
I feel a much better option than letting it rot away in the top paddock - at least there's still potential for someone to pick it up and make a mod out of it - it was probably a case of what else was "lying around" on the farm - don't ever like the thought of these dear old things returning into the earth...............

It is engineered though, so it must be more than a hack.
