Hey DR,

I went for a look Saturday arvo and was not the least bit surprised to see your car in the carpark.

Was some fantastic looking cars and bikes inside and out. Will check how my photos turned out and post if any good ones.

Noticed a few topless and wiperless cars in the carpark when the weather was turning a little nasty, must have been a few wet bums on the way home :D :(

hey dr, i dont think ive ever seen a pic of the front of your car, that thing is sweet az.

Im over the efijy, but do like the CHOPPED Ute, i used to have an old mag i picked up at a swap meet with that in it, i reckon it looks better with the flat paint then gloss... one tuff ute.

Photo's make it look better than it really is
The grill is a bunnings special (curtain rod) and temporary, so far its been a year......might use stainless for a new one as its grown on me. Simple but effctive.

Nearly bought the ute 10 years ago, haggled on price. He wouldnt go as low as I wanted. A week later I bought an FC then 2 weeks he calss and says I can have it at, to late....

I do have to say the show keeps on improving as a few years ago it was lacking...

dr i wondered about your grill, i actually thought it was an fb grill stuffed on the ek gaurd mounts and held in place by the chrome blinker moulds. Would that work anyway?

If thats all it is, man it comes up a treat in the pics.

All I did was basically grind down some bolts till the heads fitted in the tubing (cut to fit each blinker assembly as the widths vary). Place these in either end of the tube then put in place in the slots in the blinker assembly. Followed by some extreme hand twisting to get nuts on the thread in behind the blinker assembly. Very temporary, as I think with a bit more time I could do something a bit better. It was a rush jub as I was running out of time and needed to fill the gap. Has held up well.
