sorry guys i know its a car site but i thought id post my truck ass its a bit special ,, its a 1976 atkinson and has been compleatetley rebuild over 14 years the paint was done in94 as was a new moter gearbox diffs ect,ect has probabley cost 90 grand(good job it makes me a living) and has fetured in a few truck mags and is on several truck web site and gets a lot of old truckies remenising its got more chrome than a new kenworth as a mate that owns a kenworth said to me, and is possibly the best one or one of the best in aus and was the last aus hand built truck, the cab is all fibre glass was built in melb and was not made any where else in the world so they are a bit of aussie stylin ,its got a 400 cummins moter 13 speed double overdrive gearbox 44000 pound rockwell diffs at 3.7 ratio and is capable of 150 plus ks per hour( i was scared the wind screen would blow in so thats as fast as i got then got chichen)

nice truck Karstin,
brings back memories when I used to go for trips in my uncles Atkinson in the 70's.
Good to see someone taking pride in their work vehical.

There the last of good tough trucks, nice to see you look after her, and obviously with plenty of grunt to match. 8)
