this is what i came up with while my eyes refused to close for longer than 30min intervals...
the first pic is minifc's wagon & the original photo...
this is what i came up with... bagged, tuscany yellow, venetians, 13" rims with some HUUUUUUUGE whitewalls & no door handles...
well the next is what i would do if money wasnt an issue...it would be a bagged, tuscany yellow, venetians, 13" rims with some HUUUUUUUGE whitewalls, no door handles, 2inch choped, 2door...
what do you think hey...
thanks

Great ideas but the Nomad based design does not work for me
Have experience with this concept and have looked at all the variations to get the best result.
If you look at the door top shape the fixed 1/4 glass has to go, and the rear side window is too long. Using an FC wagon side window and having a smaller one to bridge the gap will help
Otherwise square up, the upper door frame and base the complete design more on the Chevy/Pontiac based two door Nomad/Safari wagons
You have the ability to make these image changes, give it a try and see how they look

Matty,
Sounds like you have I need to sleep but photoshop is better, syndrome.
Its funny how you can get so many ideas floating around in your head, and at least with photoshop technology we can all experiment and see what certain designs look like before we f#%k up a perfectly good car.
Just think if we all had this technology 25 years ago there would proberly be still thousands of Fb Eks still on the road.
Keep playing and see what else you can come up with. Maybe we should have a Photoshop section, where everyone can throw down there ideas and concepts.
Regards John

I wish I could use photoshop, I don't think I even have it on my computer.
I would love to see what a fb panelvan would look like if it had the 2 tone paint job like a special sedan with the chrome strips. The idea in my head is to make it look original like it came that way from factory. But it would also be interesting to see what it looks like modified as well.
Anyone up for the challenge ???
by the way good work Matty I suffer from insomnia, and sometimes you have to get the ideas out of your head and onto paper.

Re: just couldnt sleep...
The Nomad works for me, But still needs to retain the FB side panel. Removing it just takes away its identity for me... other than that its freaking awesome!mattymartin wrote:this is what i came up with while my eyes refused to close for longer than 30min intervals...
