Hey Gary where did ya go, by the time we found a spot to park you were gone!!!!!

We were there from Friday and left monday. Drive home as I said elsewhere was interesting to say the least. Temp gauge ran on the ugly side of hot on a few hills. Coming home was better but still not good, seems my radiator is too efficient the water isn't in it long enough to cool  .

BUT it was a very slow and somewhat treacherous ride. And to top it all off I saw Mark again but this time at Glenrowan! After Mark passed us on the road the EK got a little funky, making a funny noise so I pretty much pulled over. Lucky I did, one broken stud and 4 loose nuts on the left rear   . So close to catastraphe but not. To say I was cautious for the rest of the drive is an understatement. Later today when the missus gets home I'm going out to replace all of the studs on the rear!

Pics to come I'll try not to post the same ones as Gary...

DR do you have a thermostat? they're there to kool things as well as heat (slow the water flow)

Yep, certainly do. Just a little too low in the temp range I think. Works a treat for driving daily just not long stints on the open road. I think I know where you were heading with that comment. If anyone suggests the car will run better without a thermostat they are so wrong its not funny. They are a necessity to help your car run right.
