Has any body here had any experience with,or got any info on these electric rust preventers.I have one from a Toyota I brought new a few years ago,guess I got sucked in by the sales pitch .For those not familiar its a small box with permanent power supply and a piece of metal screwed to the body somewhere that is designed to corrode away instead of your panels rusting.Gimmick or not,what are your thoughts?

it will definately slow the rust from spreading on your panels as the oxidation will continue on the sacrificial anode
