I tend to agree but with the engineering already done it would be a good car to buy and rebuild back to four door or extended two door convertable. I wonder where it is, I have certainly never seen it and it aint something I would miss. Maybe it could be tracked through its plates.

Man that sucker hasn't been hit with the ugly stick,it has been hit with the whole tree! The mods tend to make it lok a bit like a consul (or zephyr). All that work to end up with something that looks like that, but each to there own.Although it wouldn't take that much to modify it to look GREAT,hmm I wonder where it is now? I have grinder and welder ready to go!

I totally agree with both tikEK and petrolhead, thats definately hideous, i saw the same car at a sunday arvo get together in guildford, perth. how unfortunate for the car... but it does explain why the owner never seems to be anywhere near the car... would love to see it returned to some form of beauty.

FUNKIN' WHAT??

I think a coat of black , lift the front guards back up and rounded again with some whitewalls would be a start :)
It looks like a rock n roll dancers car , the people who have a car to go with their dancing passion

I saw pictures of this yonks ago, several years.
Saved them, but on the old computer.

Who ever built it put some serious work in.

Is it just me, or does that front look like a Vauxhall!

Heh.. as already said.. that thing is pretty hideous..

Who would want a rectangle spat either? Come on.. wheres the thought in that?

And what about those Buick portholes? Isn't kustomising about doing subtle things.. or big things that make people wonder what it came from originally?

Blahhh.. good concept for sure.. just not executed that well. Shorten the boot area and repaint it with the chrome back to chrome.. and it'll be an improvement for sure.

Actally its interesting how they deleted the tail light chrome bu retained the indicator chrome , The tail light is one of the most prominent features on an EK and Id reckon you would be hard pressed to ever color it in other than black and not have it smacking you in the face so to speak :)

Wish I had time to spin some photoshop over it .

Just noticed that as well now that you mention it.. I think in the design of the car.. it woulda definately looked wierd chrome.. but then it sure does look ugly with just that one bit of the lights chromed.

Nick

Go and have a look at photos of 55 to 57 Packards.
you will see where the builder possibly got insperation for his creation

The only thing major that needs attention is to lengthen the doors to give better balance and proportions to the car. and lower it a bit.
the rest is cosmetics, and personal preference

So you want to see more possible tail lights that could be adapted?
