I have owned this FB for about 3 years now, it was advertised on this forum as a matter of fact. It is in original condition, however, now requires some basic restoration. It still belonged in the family of the original owner who had passed away some time beforehand, the wife and family now had no further use for it. It was bought new from McLeod Kelso Lee 'The House of Holden' in Newcastle and the family had always lived in the Newcastle area. The gent even kept such things as the original new car stock tag which has the stock number and type/colour of vehicle on it.
It is Seagull grey and Cathay grey in colour with red/white trim. The colour can still be seen written beneath the black paint under the bonnet, to the right of the radiator. According to the son of the original owner, the FB was fitted with many accessories from delivery which included:-
Windscreen washers
Sunshade
Wheel trims
Front and rear mudflaps
Rear wheel spats
Rear venetian shade
Manual tune radio
Front and rear Clear plastic seat covers
Front window sill 'armrests' (same as seat trim)
Gear lever lock
Locking fuel cap 'free wheeling' type
Number plate frames
Driver's front guard mounted rearview mirror
Aftermarket front and rear seatbelts
Interior door pull handles
Door handle scratch plates
Bonnet mascot
Cable controlled bonnet lock
Towbar
Mesh headlight guards
Driver's door 'Cyplas' weathershield
The owner absolutely loved this FB but I have taken a few of these accessories off at the moment because it looked a bit too flashy for me. I'm driving it to work everyday at the moment.
