Hey guys, after many years, I’m back on the forum, and this time trying to build a hot motor for my ek street Ute, built one for it 3 years ago and sold it un started for a house deposit.
The parts rack so far looks like:

Srp forged pistons
Hsd I beam Conrods
ARP head studs
ARP flywheel bolts
6lb lightened flywheel
Cam is away getting the 35/75 Clive treatment
Ross harmonic balancer
Alloy timing gear
Jet engineering custom pushrods
Head is shaved, ported, polished, red motor valves with hard seats and 308 valve springs
Toyota sc14 supercharger and Holley 350 carb is feeding the juice in

Is there any parts I’ve overlooked? Or any supporting mods you would recommend?
Also, chasing some headers/extractors if anyone has any?

Sounds interesting FUD, what sort of boost are you looking at ? Main bearing bridges at least or even a set of Galloways billet main caps might be cheap insurance ?

Agree with Blacky on the crank bracing.

If you are going to be giving this a routine hiding, consider a forged billet crank from Galloway. Not cheap, and needs the red motor balancer and flywheel.

Beware the shaved head… it may not play well either the supercharger. What compression are you targeting? Can always run a decompression plate, but would be a shame on a custom build.

Consider a copper head gasket from gasket solutions, and if so figure that thickness into your compressions check.

Consider relieving the head.

An ignition upgrade will help. If you are looking period-correct, a Veryex magneto (with no advance plates).

Header setup will depend on where you want the torque.
