After 27 years Elle has finally managed to get her bum back in the driver seat of a 202 trimatic sedan.
The old…..
The new…..
Thanks to forum member 60 special, Trevor and Karen for selling their pride and joy to us. There is a chance I may even get to drive/play with it now and then.

That was my initial thought Neil, but I wimped out and handed over equivalent fuel money with the aid of a mate Arthur Thompson from the club. Going on CEVA via his account.

Oh wow, that’s a great looking car for Elle. Recommend Elle hides the keys from you before you start swapping wheels, fitting surf racks, adjusting timing and installing stubby holders for Coopers Stout
Regards
Stephen

Congrats
Three seconds after that thing gets home, methinks we'll find out if a 202 and Traumatic are quicker than a hot 179...
Cheers,
Harv

I’m sure I’ll get the odd chance to drive it Stephen, but won’t be going surfing in it. I would have liked a wagon, which would be a different story, but ultimately, I mean one day, the van will perform that role.
I think the big block 3.3 with trimagic and slippery diff would have the jump on the 179 Harv specially with the hot rod floorshift. Currently has a 350 Holley, but I have a 390 and manifold.
Blacky thanks. Im sure it will be a suitable town car as she deserves, not like my old paddock basher.
Neil, you can see it for real next June mate!

Yes melly I reckon they are sad but glad. Original colours are pyramid coral with Grecian white flash by the tag, so whoever painted it has more or less transferred those colours into metallic. It was painted around 1997 I believe.
