Rolled out the old dog and gave it a hiding with the new gurney, ready for the outing. Image

Met Gazza at McLaren Vale C&C, picked up Glen and co along the way. Image
Engine started spluttering again and stalled in the main street of Hahndorf. Image
Fuel pump looked to be starving so pulled it off. Couldn’t find anything wrong so slapped it back on and carried on with the occasional cough and splutter, stalling at idle mid intersection etc.

Got to Palmer and met up with Arthur and Garry. Here are some cars. Image

Staggered home via Meadows pub and abandoned the car in the driveway.

That yellow T coupe was built by a bloke I know in Perth 👍

New fuel pump the cute you think or do you need to dig deeper ?

Do you use Tapatalk to post pics ? If I post more than 4 - maybe 5 - at a time it just freezes - bloody annoying….

Posting 9 or so at a time on Tapatalk, but I think I pay an annual subscription of a few dollars.

Easy enough to chuck a new pump in it I suppose. It did look sus. Maybe the valves. I will pull the top off for a gander I suppose. Might have to flush a cup of metho through the fuel system and make sure there isn’t any water in there. It really doesn’t like being laboured, which is normally fine.

I bet that dak dak has surprised a few traffic-light warriors.

We reckon it is a faker, and still has the rear engine and fuel tank under the engine cover.
