SA All Holden Day 2024

We had a successful All Holden Day yesterday at Glenelg.
With a change to the "rules " of not allowing cars to leave before the end of the event 3.00 pm, we had 233 cars on the day.
Unfortunately, a number of the entrants could not read the signs regarding not early departures, which caused a headache for me as the organizer.
I heard a number of reasons why they had to leave, my girlfriend tore her knee ligaments, to unruly child touching the cars, to sick child at home asking for daddy.
Makes you think as is it worth the trouble.
On the upside, we had 17 members cars which was a fantastic turnout. A massive thank you to our members who helped on the day, be it parking , manning the info tent selling raffle tickets.
Also to the girls on the gate who copped the abuse from the drivers who did not what to stay the event.
A thanks to Clay for the mark out on Saturday with his GPS unit.
If we do it again in 2025 there will be changes .
More photos to come.
Cheers,
Roger
