I fitted the holley sniper retro fit in tank pump to my oem fb sedan tank. Initially It did just touch the bottom of the tank and I had to trim the line between the pump and out let a little which lifted the pump from the bottom of the tank, stopped all the vibration noise and works well and whisper quiet. It is currently shorter than what holley say it can go too, no problem.
Pro. no welding required
Con. no swirl pot but, can buy pump filter sponge that acts like a swirl pot.
Also, I think the ve commodore pump can compress short enough to fit in. Blacky has done this.
If i were to do it again I'd just get the weld in ve commodore kit as they have a swirl pot. In saying that I haven't had issues with surging at low fuel levels.
I'd say about the same price after all is done.
Not sure efi pumps are good for carbys though
Be mindful some systems are dead head some need a return fuel line.

It’s internally regulated at 6psi and then I have a magnafuel reg on the engine to drop it to 4psi

It is a bit of a drama as the pump is supposed to have 7 1/4” minimum depth and the sedan tank is only 6 1/2 so modifications are required to make it work

Did you get the pump from VPM Gledge I think the one Blacky did for the Rattler you can set the height, I'm sure he will mention it.
But like I said good work mate.

It’s a Holley pump kit that you set the height on but needs to be higher than recommended but not a big deal really.. I forgot to take pictures of it before I installed it

other than that I pretty simple install
