Yes mate - I was hoping you found a pair hidden in the parts department

One way or another I need to modify the passenger side one to give the carb more clearance

Cheers Neil - see how Clay goes first

Ive been looking at it each time I go down to "man Land" as you call it and even thinking of doing away with springs altogether and going for a solid pin system even - drill a hole through two parts when bonnet is up and just use a simple pin to hold in place - simple but ultimately effective as I think even moving the springs to the outside way provide issues with the drip channels - I had given an original spring to Wheelan springs to see if they could come up with a smaller diameter -higher spring rate option but the clowns lost it so I'm now down an original spring also - Doh.

yeah I have seen their hinges and they are good - but you need chop a fair chunk out of the drip channel to fit them
