it used to be a sydney car it's been done for a looong looong time, it used to park on the street like a common old hack

Would look so much better if they'd rip that EK grill out and replace it with the super cool looking FB grill.
Looks good but I don't like the mix of FB and EK (at least not anymore).
Would love to see the car up close.

Guys,
The guy who built this car did it approx 14 years ago.
Cant remember his name but he was living Sydney Peakhurst.
He sold it about 8 to 12 months ago to fund a custom Cadilac project.
This car has the flip rear tail light for the fuel filler.
I had a close inspection and it was a good job rolled front guards good panel work.
Wish I could get the plates.
Regards Greg

I was thinking about making my FB a two door but after spending the last 3 days just fitting the Chev rockets to my bonnet, I've had a gut full.
Cheers

Hmm, I remember a panel shop in Sydenham? might have been Peakhurst where one very similar use to sit out the front in the early to mid '90's. I would see it when crossing over from Rockdale to Parramatta Rd at Homebush. Wonder if it's the same car?

Wasn't an eight back then. But the memory has been jolted and I think it is it for sure.

i'de been told about it by a mate that was a courier, said he always saw it sitting in the street he took me and showed me and that was years ago till then had never seen it, then i saw it once at a swap meet at clarendon may have been AHD i think it was only a six then, then once parked on the street sounds like where you described where you saw it smooth then street machine and then wagga swap the other week
funny for a car like this thats been around for so long and i go to just about everything car show/swap meet wise thats on and to have only bumped into it once or twice
