Carby parts wanted

Post by Brett027 »

Has anyone got the bent rod that goes between the choke and throttle that increases idle when choke is activated? I'm after 2. Thanks.

I've probably got them, but won't be home until this time next week to check.

Remind me then if you are not successful in finding two in the meantime.

Much easier to find one than make one.
When I was a young bloke, I broke that arm... and made one up using fencing wire... drilled the holes in them... it worked.
Years later, I put the red in and the entire grey was taken away... complete.

I suspect that the same rod from a red won't fit?.. or can be "bent" to fit.... I simply don't know.

I'm sure they are pretty universal across the sdd Stromberg range. They superseded the hole and split pin around HQ.
