Hi all, anybody out there got a centre rear window glass for an EK ute? Went crazy and bought project number 2 today before being anywhere near finishing project number 1. Given the difficulties in handling, something close to Canbera would be sensible. And yes, I know I can buy a new one but would prefer to splash my cash in the forum. Many thanks.

That is the $100 question mate do you risk it or maybe one of the cheaper eBay couriers I could wrap it pretty well maybe even between some thin ply though courier cost may put weigh buying new. Let me no mate no drama packaging.
What’s a new one worth by the way?
Neil.

Hi Brett
Well done on the rear screen. I managed to swap the old seat vinyl from my ute for one.
Keep an eye on gumtree will be your best bet for the bumperettes. Passenger side generally at least need restoration. They copped all the thrown up crap when the driver drifted off the edge of the highway. As well as being the invisible corner when reversing.
I’ve got three sets for two cars and all the passenger side ones need work of varying degrees. 20c piece size holes can be filled up with the mig I believe. Then need rechroming of course so a serviceable nearside one is premium. eBay auction forget about that.
You’re in no hurry so be patient.
Cheers
Clay

Hi Clay. Yes I have two sets but all a bit sad. Just putting it out there in case there is a pristine set needing a new home

. Found a goodish tailgate out bush and about to pull engine and send off to get reconditioned.
Most effort is going into Wilma's floors and when I need a change of pace I pop over to the utes and pull something off. I'm pretty happy, as between the two of them metal wise I've got most things covered. Sasha Stark has been fabricating a few specialist bits for me for Wilma and all is well in the world (mine anyway). Looking forward to seeing some paint on yours.

Picked up a perfect set of bumperettes this afternoon. Absolutely chuffed. This week the tooth fairies also lobbed in a set of front guard trims, a pristine horn ring, an air cleaner, a tongue for the towbar, a set of pristine headlight surrounds and a set of ute door cards. Stark's made me a neat set of patch tophats for the flat mid floor cross member cúrrently under repair on Wilma that is under front seat. EKMart's bits are working a treat never forgive for water feature though

).
Life is good.
