Re: Historic Motor Vehicle Gathering
I'm a sucker for a nice round cab truck. That International is beautiful. I could see my FB on the back of it.
Re: Historic Motor Vehicle Gathering
Very, very nice.
There is a part of me that wants a straight 8 like that Packard. No idea what I'd put it in. I have the same cravings for a Merlin engine. Don't know what I'd use one of them for either.
Cheers,
Harv

I would like to put one in a little roadster built with a widened mid 20's cowl - probably handle like poo but it would certainly look the goods

I love the look of many Strombergs lined up along a straight-8.Blacky wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 7:56 pmI would like to put one in a little roadster built with a widened mid 20's cowl - probably handle like poo but it would certainly look the goodsHarv wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 3:25 pm There is a part of me that wants a straight 8 like that Packard. I keep telling myself that this would be a very, very bad idea:

Talking to Dave a while back, the costs on getting one of these beasties running can be formidable.
