G'day Blacky,

You're after one of the following BXUV-2 carbs:
23-3013 (Holden HD (February 1965 - April 1966), HR and HK (April 1966 – 1968) automatic transmissions, HT, HG and LC 149ci and 161ci engines),
23-3019 (Holden HR and HK (April 1966-1968), HT, HG and LC 161ci engines with manual transmissions),
23-3022 (Holden HR, HK, HT and HG 161ci six cylinder economy (taxi) engines, April 1966 – 1971),
23-3043 (Holden HT low compression 161ci engines with automatic transmissions, 1970), or
23-3044 (Holden HT low compression 161ci engines with manual transmissions, 1970).

I assume you are not looking for a WW, as the LC banana came with one:
23-3041 (Holden LC GTR 161S (2600S) engines, from October 1969 to July 1971.)

If you don't find one closer, I'll take a look through the spare parts department on the weekend.

Cheers,
Harv

Either 179 or 149 I reckon I have. If nothing else comes up I can check.

Really? So I'm guessing no mods at all allowed huh. The revamped club rules we have here in Vic actually allow multi carbs and period speed parts and some common sense mods.

Yeah its a pain in the arse over here - the only mods allowed are radials, seat belts , gas , and "period correct bolt on accessories " which I think should include twin carbs and headers - technically you could consider a Repco head and a Norman supercharger as period bolt on accessories !

When I was mucking around with carbies trying to sort my fuel consumption and talking with the carby man who supplied me with full recon I said I want one for to suit a stock as a rock 161. he mentioned these numbers
VXUV-2 stock 1'3/4
VXV-2  bigger float , slightly bigger jetting
